Realm Notice

Mods join the realm β€” 3 Sep

World 1 now has staff. A gold crown with a D marks the Dev. A silver crown with an M marks a Mod. Those icons sit next to the name in chat and on Inspect.

Dev Mod

What staff can do

  • The Dev can promote or remove Mods.
  • Dev and Mods can mute or unmute a name for the whole server. That is not the same as your personal mute list.
  • Right-click a name in chat, or open Inspect, to see the staff actions you are allowed to use.

What they do not do

  • No kicks. No bans. A mute lasts until staff lifts it.
  • Players still keep their own mute and ignore lists. Those only hide chat for you.

Bounty Hunter, combat loadouts, and a steadier vault β€” 3 Sep

The big warrant road is finished. Bounty Hunter is a full skill now β€” masters, marks, the Tower, and a shop that spends what you earn. The vault can remember eight combat kits. A few bank and sell bugs that were doubling packs are gone.

Bounty Hunter

  • Take warrants from the town masters. Each town has its own desk and its own face.
  • Turn in kills for Bounty Hunter XP and Bounty Marks. The skill sits on the combat overlay with Attack, Might, Defense, and Hits.
  • Hunter's Tower is the climb: floors, hunter gear, and warrant seals.
  • Spend Marks in the Warrant shop. Pack sweeps and later perks unlock as the skill climbs.

Combat loadouts

  • The vault now holds eight gear presets. Save the kit you are wearing, then swap it back in one click.
  • A preview shows the set before you apply it, so you can see what you are about to put on.
  • Bank pack loadouts are still there for the bag. Gear presets are for the fight.

Vault and sell fixes

  • Withdraw no longer restocks the same item behind your back.
  • Selling from the vault or the shop no longer brings the stack back.
  • The pack stays on one save. Rapid clicks and drag-all no longer flip you between two inventories.

Dungeons β€” a new content skill β€” 23 Aug

Dungeons is live. It is its own skill, not a combat node. Walk or teleport to the castle in the hills above OakHaven, then pick a hall and let the rooms score you out.

How to train it

  • Agility 20. The castle sits on the world map off OakHaven.
  • Arrive and the halls open on the map. There is no separate hub page.
  • Leave by walking or teleporting to another node. Closing the halls overlay keeps the map open.
  • Dungeons now has its own board in the Hall of Heroes.

The six halls

  • The Crypt at 1, The Outpost at 10, The Catacombs at 25, The Volcanic Forge at 40, The Shadow Citadel at 60, and The Abyss at 80.
  • Each delve rolls a score target. Rooms tick every four seconds β€” bonus, multiply, penalty, or a clean step.
  • Clear the hall for Dungeons XP and Gloom Sovereigns. Higher halls pay more: 1, 3, 7, 12, 20, then 30.
  • Flee early and you lose a cut of that hall's XP, then wait 30 seconds to delve again.

The Gloom Shop

  • Spend Gloom Sovereigns on pack stacking. One family, one rank, one click. You cannot skip ranks.
  • Six ranks: 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 on one pack tile. Unlock ladder matches the halls.
  • Gathering: ores, logs, forage, and fish. Smithing: bars, armour, and weapons. Crafting: food, vials, flasks, and cloth & hides.
  • Caps cannot be exceeded. Bones stay unstacked. Cloth and hides start unstacked; one shop rank covers both. Fletching shafts, arrows, and foci already stack.

The Combat Arena and the painted realm β€” 22 Aug

Combat left the cramped side tab. Every road now fights in one Arena. Armor, weapons, items, and every foe got new painted stills.

The Combat Arena

  • Attack on any monster opens a full-screen Combat Arena β€” the same board from the shoreline to Wyrmgrave.
  • A giant foe card sits center-stage. Mist auras mark the threat: green for swarmers, silver-blue for bruisers, purple for elites, gold for dragons.
  • Fight starts the clash. Run is locked until the foe falls. After a kill the arena waits ten seconds before you can Fight again.
  • You and the foe keep their own swing clocks, Hits bars, hit splats, and a rolling combat log. Press I for the pack. Eat from the quick pack during a hunt.
  • A bow trains Range, or Range & Defense. A staff trains Sorcery, or Sorcery & Defense. Swords still train Attack, Might, and Defense.
  • Every combat node holds three threats: a fast pest, a mid bruiser, and an elite. At Agility 80 the last slot becomes a dragon. Banks have no war.
  • Ranked PvP uses the same arena. No food. No flasks. No retreat. Worn gear and infusions still count.

The painted foes

  • Every zone slot now has its own square monster card β€” OakRidge, the Workshop, EmberForge, Brinewood, Mossveil, Smuggler's Cove, Ashen Peaks, Willow Cross, Glimmerfen, Whispering Woods, Stormwatch, Thornvale, Ashfen Crossing, Serpent's Pass, Reedmarsh, and Wyrmgrave.
  • OakHaven's three were painted again: Murk Feather, the Goblin, and the Infected Cow.
  • The King Dragon Elite has its own portrait. It no longer borrows the marsh drake.
  • Quest threats sit on the same card style: Marsh Phantom, Gatekeeper Drake, and Cove Bandit.

Armor, weapons, and the pack

  • Leather through Eclipse, plus Dragon, now have painted stills: helms, bodies, legs, boots, gloves, and shields.
  • Swords, battleaxes, bows, staves, and arrows walk the same metal road. Hide armor and mage robes got matching sets.
  • Tools, ores, bars, logs, fish, food, flasks, vials, bones, coins, and quest relics all have portraits.
  • Pack, shop, wiki, inspect, and the arena food tray all show those stills.
  • Item frames mark rarity: bronze, iron, steel, plague, void, eclipse, and dragon.
Patch

Bank, clocks, and the sell desk β€” 21 Aug

The vault left the tab row. Combat got its own clocks. Bows and staves finally train their own skills. You can sell from the shop or the vault.

The bank is a desk

  • Bank is no longer an area tab. A gold Bank button sits beside Current Location, with a B keycap.
  • Press B anywhere to open or close it. If the place has no vault, you get the nuh-uh and a log line.
  • The popup is inspect-sized: vault on the left, pack on the far right.
  • Dedicated bank hubs still open the vault for you. Everywhere else stays on Hub until you press Bank.

Sell from pack or vault

  • Shop Sell has a Sell All button. It dumps every non-quest stack in the pack.
  • The vault tab bar now ends with a gold Sell tab. Left click sells 1 from the vault. Right click is 1 / 5 / 10 / All.
  • Sell All on that tab sells the whole vault. Quest items never appear.
  • Close the bank, travel, or log out β€” you come back on the same vault tab or Sell tab.

Combat clocks

  • You and the foe no longer share one swing timer. First-slot swarmers are fast and thin. Middle is even with a sword. Last is slow and fat.
  • Last-slot elites now match a battleaxe at 3.6s. Dragons sit a hair slower. Last-slot Hits went up so the spike is fat, not secretly fast.
  • The Infected Cow hits 2. Swarmers no longer double-tap on your tick.
  • A yellow charge fills along the red portrait frame, then snaps back when they swing.

Range and Sorcery on the Train row

  • A bow shows Range, or Range & Defense. A staff shows Sorcery, or Sorcery & Defense. Swords still show Attack, Might, and Defense.
  • One style: damage Γ— 18.75 to that skill. Two styles: that pot splits in half.
  • Vitality is always one-third. It does not get cut when you train two skills.
  • Accuracy and max hit already used Range or Sorcery. The Train row now matches the weapon in your hand.

Season ranks

  • Rank borders are end-of-season rewards. ALPHA does not grant them, and worn ALPHA frames are stripped on load.
  • The Arena Rank Rewards grid is empty for now. The header stays. The list comes later.
Patch

The purse climbs the road β€” 21 Aug

Sell prices, Agility laps, and pouches moved. Catch rates, cook burn, and tool success did not.

Gathering and Agility

  • Fish, ore, forage, and logs now share one sell ladder: 10 / 15 / 25 / 41 / 81 / 450gp.
  • A clean Agility lap pays that same gold. Void camp at 80 is about 50,000–55,000gp an hour.
  • Eclipse goods at 99 are about 120,000–130,000gp an hour. Eclipse at unlock stays lower β€” the 5% tax is real.

Smithing is the wallet

  • Own-ore smithing at 80 is about 100,000–110,000gp an hour.
  • Eclipse smithing at 100 is about 200,000gp an hour. High-tier bars take 2–3 coal, not 8–12.
  • Bows and staves sell as one log plus a small craft tax. They do not pay like a three-bar sword.

Combat pouches

  • Geared 80s: about 80,000–95,000gp an hour on the road.
  • Eclipse elites and dragons: about 140,000–160,000gp an hour.
  • Sparks, keys, and dragon gear stay the combat prize above raw gold.
Patch Notes

Fishing Poles & Tool Gates β€” 21 Aug

Fishing now walks the same tool road as mining, woodcutting, and foraging. Tool level requirements are real.

Fishing poles

  • Bare hands stay the OakHaven starter.
  • The Copper Fishing Pole is the first real pole, same tier as bronze tools.
  • The old Bone pole is now an Iron Fishing Pole. If you already had one, it became Iron.
  • Steel through Eclipse poles are unchanged.

Success chance

  • Fishing uses the same success table as the other gather skills.
  • A matching pole or better climbs with your Fishing level.
  • One tier under is a low bridge chance. Two under cannot cast.

Tool levels

  • Every tool now checks its skill before you can belt it or use it.
  • Iron needs 10. Steel 25. Plague 40. Void 60. Eclipse 80.
  • You can still loot or buy a tool you cannot use yet. It sits in the pack until you meet the level.

The Friends List β€” 20 Aug

The Friends tab is live. Send a request, wait until both of you accept, then keep a private line open.

How it works

  • Open the Friends tab. Type a name and send a request.
  • You can also right-click a name in chat, or add them from Inspect.
  • Both of you must accept. Until then, nobody is added to a list.
  • A decline leaves both lists empty. You can send again later.

Whispers

  • Friends can whisper with /msg Name your words.
  • A private chat tab opens for that name.
  • Whispers stay between the two of you.

The rest of the desk

  • Friends show online when they are in the realm.
  • Blocked and Muted sit on the same tab.
  • Remove a friend any time from the list, chat, or Inspect.

The Rebalance β€” 20 Aug

Sorry. We had to do a full character wipe to seat this patch. Every World 1 save starts over so the new skill road can run clean.

1. The wipe

  • Skills, pack, gold, quests, and the vault are cleared.
  • Account names stay. The road does not.
  • This was required to implement the rebalance. We are sorry it costs your progress.

2. What the patch does

  • One success table now runs every non-combat skill.
  • A fail spends the materials and grants 0 XP.
  • Quest-only crafts stay 100%.
  • Combat was not touched. Hits, damage, and monster stats stay as they were.

3. How a tick works

  • You only roll if you meet the level.
  • A matching tool starts at that tier’s floor and climbs toward the next gate.
  • One tier under can still bridge at a low rate. Two under cannot.
  • A better tool adds +10% per tier, capped at 95%.
  • Agility has no tool, so it does not get that over-tier bump.

4. The road, in order

  • Bronze at 1: 35%, climbing toward 60% by 10.
  • Iron at 10: 30%, climbing toward 55% by 25.
  • Steel at 25: 25%, climbing toward 50% by 50.
  • Plague at 50: 20%, climbing toward 45% by 65.
  • Void at 65: 15%, climbing toward 35% by 80.
  • Eclipse at 80: 5%, climbing toward 20% by 100.

5. Skills on the table

  • Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Foraging were already here.
  • Agility, Alchemy, Cooking, Smelting, Smithing, Fletching, and Artifice now use the same table.
  • Eclipse Summit at Agility 80 starts at 5% and climbs with the skill.

6. Pace that did not change

  • Harvest and Agility ticks stay 2.5 seconds.
  • Benches stay 1.5 seconds.
  • XP per success stays 15 / 45 / 120 / 350 / 1,100 / 4,500.

Two new contracts β€” 18 Aug

The Quests tab now holds two new one-time contracts. One is a starter remake at the Spire. The other is a mid-level recovery for the Grand Merchant.

Patch

New skill! New boss! β€” 18 Aug

Alchemy is on the Skills tab. The King Dragon Elite waits under Wyrmgrave. Dragon steel only drops from that crown.

World 1 Highscores

The boards stay dark until World 1 is opened again.
